Project Description:

Sydney Pressed Metal was engaged to carry out a complete heritage ceiling and cornice restoration at the historic Coolamon Hotel in regional New South Wales. This project involved repairing and re-installing traditional pressed metal panels and decorative cornices to bring the venue’s original architectural character back to life.

A major highlight of the project is the custom brass pressed metal feature bar, designed and fabricated as the visual centrepiece of the hotel. The handcrafted brass finish adds warmth, depth, and a contemporary edge while maintaining harmony with the building’s Federation-era detailing.

The completed restoration celebrates both authentic heritage craftsmanship and modern hospitality design, preserving the building’s charm while ensuring long-term durability and aesthetic appeal.
