Pressed Metal Dado Wall Panels

Pressed metal dado panels create a patterned lower-wall treatment and can also help continue a design language across feature walls, bars, corridors and selected commercial or heritage interiors. Browse SPM’s current designs below, then send the wall dimensions, photos, pattern preference and project scope so the team can confirm panel layout and quote requirements.

Planning a dado-panel layout

Define the wall area

Provide the length and proposed panel height for each wall, plus doors, windows, stairs, corners, power points and other interruptions. Photos or elevations help SPM understand the proposed layout. Approximate dimensions are acceptable for an initial enquiry.

Choose the pattern scale and direction

A larger repeat can read differently on a short wall than on a long corridor or feature wall. Shortlist patterns using the product grid and the ceilings and feature walls gallery, then ask SPM to confirm the current panel dimensions and repeat for the selected product.

Coordinate edges and adjoining details

Identify skirtings, rails, trims, existing cornices and how the panel should terminate. Edge and trim details must be confirmed for the selected product and project rather than assumed from a general example.

Confirm the scope and finish

State whether the enquiry is for supply only, supply and installation, restoration or matching work. Standard supply-only panels are generally raw aluminium; etch-prime can be added where required. Finishing options can be included as part of an installed project where specified. Installation and restoration are available in Sydney and selected locations across NSW, depending on the project. Ask SPM about sample availability.

Dado-panel ordering questions

What measurements does SPM need?

Send the length and proposed panel height of each wall, together with photos or drawings showing corners, openings and services. SPM can then identify any further layout information required.

Can a dado pattern be used as a larger feature wall?

Some designs may be considered for broader wall applications, but panel orientation, repeat, edge treatment and available dimensions must be confirmed for the selected product.

Does SPM supply and install dado panels?

Yes. Standard supply-only panels are generally raw aluminium, with etch-prime available where required. Installation and restoration are available in Sydney and selected locations across NSW, depending on the project.

What panel sizes are available?

Current reported standard formats are 600 × 1800 mm and 900 × 1800 mm, with 1800 mm the recorded maximum panel dimension. Longer runs require joins. SPM must confirm the selected design’s dimensions, repeat, layout and quantity in the quote.

Are samples available?

Ask SPM about sample availability.
