External facade – Restoration of pressed metal on oriel windows
Project Description:
Sydney Pressed Metal was involved in specialist works to retain the heritage building frontage, formally known as Tyne House (1915-1916), to be incorporated into the Ace Hotel development.
Our team restored the pressed metal oriel windows over 6 levels of the hotel frontage. Cornice components were moulded by hand and finishing details carefully matched into the stonework of the heritage facade. “Medium Fishscale” is the pressed metal design featured on this project.
