SPM supplies pressed-metal panels for vanity splashbacks and decorative bathroom feature walls. Areas around baths require case-by-case review of the exact location and finish. SPM does not currently make a general suitability claim for showers or direct-water areas. Browse the current designs, then send photos, approximate dimensions and application details for review before quotation or order.

Use the product pages to shortlist a pattern, but confirm current panel dimensions, repeat, base material and finish options with SPM. A pattern listing does not by itself confirm suitability for every bathroom location.
Information needed before product selection
Exact bathroom location
Identify whether the surface is behind a vanity, beside a bath, within a shower zone or in another feature area. Include photos showing taps, outlets, joins and adjacent surfaces.
Dimensions and substrate
Provide the approximate width and height of each area and identify the existing wall or planned substrate if known. Plans or elevations are useful for new work.
Finish and maintenance expectations
Share the desired appearance and any relevant site requirements. Standard supply-only panels are generally raw aluminium; etch-prime can be added where required. Finishing options can be included as part of an installed project where specified. Detailed cleaning and care guidance will not be published until an approved SPM care document exists.
Installation scope
State whether the enquiry is for supply only, supply and installation, replacement, repair or advice. Any waterproofing, plumbing, electrical or building work outside SPM’s approved scope must remain with the responsible trade.

Bathroom splashback FAQs
Can pressed metal be used behind a bathroom vanity?
Yes. Vanity splashbacks are a verified SPM application. The exact material, finish and installation requirements must still be confirmed when quoting.
Can it be installed inside a shower?
SPM does not currently make a general suitability claim for showers or direct-water areas. Any such proposal requires separate technical confirmation from the responsible building and waterproofing professionals as well as project-specific review.
Does SPM offer supply only and installation?
Yes. Standard supply-only bathroom panels are generally raw aluminium, with etch-prime available where required. Installation is available in Sydney and selected locations across NSW, depending on the project.
Are samples available?
Ask SPM about sample availability.
What should I send with an enquiry?
Send photos or plans, the exact location in the bathroom, approximate dimensions, substrate information if known, pattern and finish preferences, the suburb or postcode and required scope.
Can I order a design shown elsewhere on the site?
Include the design name or link. SPM must confirm current availability, dimensions, material and finish options for the proposed bathroom location.
Discuss a bathroom splashback application
Send SPM photos, dimensions, the exact bathroom location and your preferred pattern and finish. The team can review the application and advise what is needed for a quote.
